Game Lengths – 7v7: 2×25, 9v9: 2×30, U13-U14: 2×35, U15-U19: 2×40.

Team Participation, Referee Systems and Guest Players

The team or teams must be entered for competition in a league affiliated with the USSF or US CLUB and be sanctioned by the appropriate State or National Association. Prior to competition, teams must present proof of affiliation and permission to travel (out of state teams). Validated, laminated State player passes, as well as parental medical release forms, are required for all players participating in the tournament.

Teams are allowed 3 passed coaches on bench. Each coach in the bench area must be licensed and hold the appropriate pass, and is responsible for his/her team and spectators at each game. Any team not having a passed coach at the beginning of the game will have until the end of halftime to provide a passed coach or the game at hand will be forfeited (see Forfeit section for impact of forfeiting a game). A maximum of three guest players is allowed (players from same club are not considered guest players). Teams need no prior approval for guest players. Forms for guest players can be attained through state association. Questions regarding guest players should be directed to the Tournament Director at glsatournamentdirector@gmail.com.

Application Process

If you wish to participate in the Libertyville Cup Youth Soccer Festival, please complete the online application in its entirety and complete payment. The application must be completed and the tournament fee paid for online by April 11th, 2025.

Hotel Policy

STAY TO PLAY POLICY

This is a STAY TO PLAY tournament. All non-commuting teams participating in the tournament MUST make all hotel accommodations using our tournament housing services. Please do not call the hotels directly and book through the reservation link below. We appreciate your support as these partnered hotels assist in sponsoring our event.

Greater Libertyville Soccer Association is proud to partner with HBC Event Services, a housing agency with a nationwide reputation for excellence in managing travel for sports events. HBC Event Services provides an easy way for you to book your hotel rooms with our partnered hotels at the best rates. These rates are lower than their best available rate and usually includes breakfast for your team.

Finally, you have the ability to purchase a Travel Protection Plan with up to 100% for covered cancellations reasons as well as a Cancel for Any Reason benefit of 75% coverage of your unused non-refundable prepaid expenses for travel arrangements you paid for your trip, including the event registration costs.

Facility Parking Fees

There are parking fees for this event at the Libertyville Township Soccer Complex. Parking $10 (Early Bird Special) online until Thursday night May 21st, $15 online, the day of the event Friday the 22rd, or $15 cash, at the gate.

All parking fees go to the GLSA Player Scholarship Fund, allowing more kids an opportunity to play the game we love at GLSA FC 1974.

Team Check In

All teams will be required to submit their paperwork to the GLSA office. This in once submitted, paperwork will be reviewed and accepted/rejected. Please contact Elise at eleeseglsa1974@gmail.com with your team name and age group if you need to update your paperwork. Click on the Manager Checklist for full details and paperwork required.

Refund Policy

After acceptance, no refunds will be made unless the tournament is cancelled, in which case refunds will be disbursed on a pro-rated basis with a full refund if the event is cancelled before it starts. If the tournament is cancelled due to an “act of nature”, the tournament will retain 25% of the team entry fee. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to decide all matters pertaining to the tournament, and the judgment is final.
